The Private Banking Premier Current Account is exclusively available to Bank of Scotland Private Banking clients who have at least £250,000 in savings and investments or a yearly, sole income of at least £100,000.

The Private Banking Premier Current Account comes with a comprehensive range of added value benefits from leading industry providers, designed to try and save clients money, time and the hassle of shopping around.

  • A dedicated Relationship Manager who is your priority contact face-to-face or over the phone, plus a dedicated Telephone Service open 24/7.
  • Worldwide Travel Insurance, AA Breakdown Cover, Mobile Phone Insurance, Payment Card Protection and ID Aware.
  • £500 interest and fee free Planned Overdraft with the option of a higher limit if you need it, subject to application and approval.
  • As you would expect for a service of this kind, there is a premium of £25 per month. But this fee is waived if you invest £250,000 in an Investment Portfolio Service with us.

Worldwide Travel Insurance (62 days per trip), including winter sports cover (17 days in any 12 month period) for you, if you are under 80 years of age,  including family cover.
World Wide Travel insurance is only available to you if you have lived permanently in the United Kingdom for at least 6 months during the 12 month period prior to a trip and are registered with a medical practitioner in the United Kingdom.

Subject to application and approval. How much we lend is subject to our assessment of your circumstances. No overdraft fees or interest to pay if you go over your Planned Overdraft limit by £25 or less. You must be 18 or over. Overdrafts are repayable in full on demand.

When using your Bank of Scotland Private Banking Visa debit card abroad please note that fees and charges will apply.
Overdraft buffer£25 overdraft buffer. No overdraft fees or interest to pay if you go over your Planned Overdraft limit by £25 or less.
Grace period if you go over your credit limitIf you go into overdraft in the course of a day, ensure that the overdrawn amount is repaid by 3:30pm (UK time) to avoid paying interest/fees on the overdrawn amount for that day. The amount you pay in needs to be immediately available to use, so you could transfer money from another personal account you have with us via Internet Banking or Telephone Banking or pay in cash over the counter in branch.
