Important changes to our funds managed by Insight Investment (5th August 2009)

Many of our funds are managed internally by Insight Investment, our own fund managers. These include:

• OEIC funds
  OEIC stands for Open-Ended Investment Company and is a type of collective investment, similar to a unit trust. These funds are available through the ISA Investor and Collective Investment Plan. Portfolios in this category are also available.
• Pension funds          
• Available through the Stakeholder Pension Plan, Individual Pension Plan, Personal Pension Plan and Income Drawdown Plan.  Stakeholder Pension Plan portfolios are also available.
• Life funds
  Available through the Personal Investment Plan, Maximum Investment Plan and Flexible Protection Plan. Personal Investment Plan portfolios are also available.

We also offer a range of carefully selected funds from independent providers. independently managed fund factsheets are also available to download. 

Important Information

Life funds are provided by St Andrew's Life Assurance plc and pension funds are provided by Halifax Life Limited, and managed by Insight Investment. OEIC funds are provided by HBOS Investment Fund Managers Limited, and managed by Insight Investment. Prior to March 2001, when Halifax purchased certain operating assets of The Equitable Life Assurance Society, these funds were Equitable Life and Equitable Investment Fund Managers (EIFM) funds. As underlying investments are based upon the pre-existing Equitable Life and EIFM funds, past performance has been shown over the period since their inception.
